HAPPINESS, LAUGHTER AT MANY OF ELVIS' ANTICS, JOKES AND TEASING BUT ALSO SO MUCH THAT IS THOUGHT-PROVOKING, FROM THE HEART AND SOUL AND THAT LAST MEETING BETWEEN WANDA AND ELVIS TOO, GLAD SHE PRE-WARNED US ABOUT NEEDING SOME TISSUES, SURE DID! I'm in the middle of reading it too and am loving it. I've already laughed and cried with such a range of emotions. I noticed Wanda you spent time revealing Elvis' knowledge of the Bible; quite detailed. That alone makes your book quite unique. Of course, there's still much more to read. I hope I haven't given away too much here. Don't want to spoil it for those who have not read it yet.

This book is written in a readable and one can easily see that the author wrote with the love and the respect that she experienced during her friendship with Elvis. I wish all of those who call themselves true Elvis fans and who want to find their path with peace, will read this book. I am enjoying it very much!

This book was written by Wanda June Hill, someone who knew & loved Elvis as a close friend, and not as Elvis the star. In this book the author reveals the true character of Elvis, much of it through interviews she taped, with his consent. The interviews were done primarily in 1976 via phone & one face to face. Here we see that Elvis is humorous, appreciative of his fans, thoughtful, sometimes having an occasional "attitude", alert, aware, intelligent, and having good memory, completely dispelling the drug abuse myths. This book is well written, entertaining & insightful. It also includes the author's own story in meeting and getting to know Elvis, as well as comments from others who had the chance & privilege to get to know the man behind the image. I have gotten to know Mrs. Hill quite well and find her to be genuine & caring. Not for a moment do I think this book was done for money. She wrote this book as an honor to her dear friend Elvis & his memory. Highly recommended!

Don't lose the best book written about Elvis I have ever seen until now: the revised and widen re-edition of "WE REMEMBER, ELVIS", written by Wanda June Hill, who was his trusty friend and was part too of the famous phone friends' circle Elvis had through many years, until the end of his life here.
 
I have just finished reading it and the sensation I got is that of having Elvis to my hand's reach, laughing with his laugh, crying his tears, feeling with his heart.  Elvis becomes a breathable atmosphere, so close that it is no necessary any effort to reach him.
 
Most of the book he talks with his own words (taped and transcript with his authorization) and with his facts, without interpretations. There appear some heartfelt testimonies, written in first person by some of his friends that were part of that circle.
 
This book transpires to be written from the Love for the good friend, without ulterior interests.
 
All of you able to read English, don't let it pass by. Those unable to, will have to wait a little time until it is traduced, which certainly will be. I have addressed myself to the author asking for it. She has told me that it is her intention. She wishes so much to make the real Elvis Presley known, that she is actually thinking about using the book's benefits to translate it to different languages and also, to get it to those without meanings for buying it, like hospitals libraries, humble districts' and other institutions of the kind.
 
This is a book with heart, ELVIS' HEART.
