Aloha to all "Elvis Seekers"! Have you ever
considered that in your love and admiration for Elvis and the special
heart-feeling you have for him which you really can't describe in words, may
be coming from an inner search for deeper spiritual meaning in your life? I
say "spiritual" and not "religious", as regardless of our religions or lack
of it, we are all spiritual beings. We cannot escape this fact, even if we
deny it. The miracle of life is Spirit in action.
But what does this have to do with Elvis and our deep and
often inexpressible feelings for him? Elvis was quite simply, a human
being who radiated (and still does) a Love-Path for us to open doors into
our spiritual selves. We may not recognize that is what he is doing for us,
or rather that is how we are responding to him, but I believe this to be
true.
I have set up the ELC Forums through which
we may all come together to discuss our feelings about Elvis as a good and
spiritual being...as a HUMAN being who lit a candle still burning brightly
in your heart. Why not share your feelings, thoughts and dreams concerning
your "Elvis-connection" with one another? Maybe even talk about your own
spiritual quest of finding out who YOU are and how Elvis has helped you to
do that? Let's explore these topics together. I will be participating with
you as administrator for the forum...BUT I am not the "leader of the band."
I am hoping that those who join this forum will be able to take the
incentive to post their own thoughts, feelings and experiences and not wait
for me to do so.
